Bishopcraft uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This page explains the additional measurements on The Governer reader.

Book reader activity

The reader records when it opens, which section is opened, when the voice view is selected, and when a full-text or voice download link is clicked. Section identifiers are used for counts; the text you read is not sent as an analytics event.

Signed-in readers

When a reader is signed in, these events are associated with an opaque identifier derived from the reader account. The identifier is not a name or email address. Visitors who are not signed in contribute to anonymous totals. Bishopcraft does not send account names, email addresses, or personalized-version prompts in these reader events.

Personalized-version requests

If you request a personalized version, Bishopcraft receives the name, email address, and prompt you submit so Ethan can respond and make your version. The checkout is handled by Stripe. These request details are separate from the book reader analytics described above.
