How it works

An idea, a plan,
then the build.

A clear conversation about the work and the schedule before the project moves into the workshop.

From idea to finished piece

Good work begins
with a clear plan.

Design, scope and timing are worked out before the build begins.

  1. 01

    Tell me about the project

Share the purpose, location, approximate dimensions, references and any timing you have in mind.

  2. 02

    Check the fit and availability

I review the work and the part-time build calendar, then follow up about practical details.

  3. 03

Work through the design and estimate

We clarify materials, finish, design work, delivery or installation and the proposed scope.

  4. 04

    Agree the work and schedule

The written scope, any design fee or deposit, and timing are confirmed before booking.

  5. 05

    Build and complete

The work moves into the workshop, with the agreed handover, delivery or installation arranged as part of the project.

What helps with an inquiry?

A rough sketch or a few reference images can be useful. Approximate dimensions, the town where the piece will be used and a budget range help me assess the work. “Not sure yet” is a reasonable starting point.

How long will it take?

Lead times depend on the design, materials and current commitments. Bishop Woodcrafts is a part-time business; a requested date is something to discuss, and a build date is confirmed separately.

Start with an idea

Tell me what
you have in mind.

A piece of furniture, a wall of storage, a detail that makes a room work better.

A note on availability

Bishop Woodcrafts is Ethan’s part-time woodworking business. Projects are scheduled around his primary job, and timing is agreed individually before booking.

Sending an inquiry starts a conversation. It does not reserve a build date.
