1. Free reader
Bishop Woodcrafts LLC makes the standard version of The Governer available at bishopcraft.com without charge. Free access does not transfer copyright or ownership of the manuscript, artwork, source material, or third-party works. You may read, quote, review, criticize, discuss, and make other uses allowed by law. The supplied text downloads are for personal reading and reasonable personal backup; do not resell or redistribute the complete book as your own product.
2. Buy your own version from Ethan — $10
For $10 USD, paid once, you may submit a custom prompt asking Ethan to make a personalized version of The Governer for you. This is a custom creative-service request, not a fee for access to the standard book. The standard reader remains free whether or not you buy a personal version.
Your request may describe the perspective, themes, situations, questions, tone, or personal context you want the version to respond to. The $10 covers Ethan's review of that prompt and creation of a personalized version in a form Ethan determines is appropriate for the request. Unless a different schedule, format, or scope is expressly agreed in writing, there is no guaranteed word count, format, or delivery date.
3. Checkout and refunds
Checkout is handled by Stripe in live mode and charges real money. Before payment, the site shows the $10 total and these terms. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. A completed payment applies only to the personal-version request identified by that checkout.
If checkout is cancelled, you are not charged. Duplicate or incorrect charges will be corrected. If Ethan cannot reasonably fulfill a paid request, Bishop Woodcrafts LLC will refund that request. Change-of-mind refund requests made before work begins will be considered; once custom work has begun or has been delivered, a refund is not guaranteed except where required by law.
4. Your prompt
You keep whatever rights you already have in your own prompt. By submitting it, you give Bishop Woodcrafts LLC and Ethan permission to store, review, edit, and use the prompt only as reasonably needed to process payment, create your requested version, communicate with you about it, keep transaction and support records, and resolve disputes or legal obligations.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, medical records, government identifiers, another person's private messages, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary to the request. If you include material created by someone else, you are responsible for having the right to provide it for this purpose.
5. Personalized versions
A personalized version is a creative adaptation made from your request. It is not a factual certification about you, a diagnosis, professional advice, or a promise that every requested statement will be included. Ethan may decline, narrow, or reframe material that cannot reasonably or lawfully be used, and may contact you if the request needs clarification.
Unless separately agreed in writing, a delivered personal version is licensed to you for your own personal reading and use. Copyright and other rights in The Governer, the personalized adaptation, and third-party material remain with their respective owners. Your independent ideas, facts, notes, responses, and other rights protected by law remain yours.
6. Privacy and payment information
The site stores the name, email address, prompt, request identifier, status, and related fulfillment information needed to process the request. Stripe receives the payment information required for Checkout plus the request identifier used to match payment to the request; the custom prompt itself is not sent to Stripe by this request flow. Payment-card data is handled by Stripe, not stored in the Bishopcraft request record.
Your paid request may be emailed to Ethan for fulfillment. Information may also be kept as reasonably necessary for transaction records, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
7. Availability and changes
The free reader may be corrected, updated, redesigned, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance. These changes do not create a charge. A paid personal-version request is governed by the terms shown when that request is submitted and paid; later changes will not add a new fee to that completed request.
8. Rights and support
These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, the rest remains effective to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here prevents honest criticism, lawful quotation, accessibility use, research, or other uses protected by law.
